On the outside, you may be keeping life together – work, family, responsibilities. On the inside, it can feel very different: drinking or gambling more than you’d like, living with constant anxiety, or feeling worn down by big life changes. You’ve managed so much already, but the same patterns keep pulling you back. Therapy gives you a space to work through without judgment, to make sense of what’s happening, and to discover healthier ways forward. Progress isn’t about being perfect-it’s about building small changes that add up over time. You don’t have to figure this out alone. I welcome you, regardless of where you’re starting.
I’ve dedicated my education and career to helping reduce stigma and shame and supporting those experiencing issues with addiction. I received a Master’s in Science and Social Work from Columbia University and have over 15 years of experience as a group facilitator, individual therapist, and supervisor to graduate-level interns.
My approach is to create an environment where you feel heard and understood, while also highlighting your strengths. Together, we’ll look at the patterns that have kept you stuck and find new ways to respond. The goal is to change how you interact with challenges and open up options that lead to real solutions.
Making progress is like climbing a ladder out of a deep hole—each step gives you more strength and perspective. You already hhave what it takes to start, because you’re here looking for help. That’s the compass worth following. If you’re ready, I offer a free consultation so we can see if we’re a good fit.
